Mitzy

Posted by brilomax on July 9, 2021

Mitzy is a one year old who has always been an indoor cat and we’d like to keep it that way, she is a little unsettled at the moment as she is missing her family (she was surrendered to Lancashire Cat Rescue as a child in the family had developed a cat allergy).

She has tested negative for FIV/Felv, is chipped, neutered & fully vaccinated, we are certain that she would soon settle in a new home & she doesn’t seem to mind our Collie dog (Jack).

So if you’re looking for a young friendly indoor cat then Mitzy could be the one for you.

If you are local to Preston, Lancashire & would like to offer a loving home to Mitzy (or any of our cats) please call us on 01772 750263 to make an appointment to view (leave a message if no one answers, someone will get back to you), we expect a donation of at the very least £50 for our adult cats and in Mitzy’s case a commitment to keep her indoors and provide litter trays.

Update! (12/07/2021) Mitzy now has an indoor home with Rob in Leyland.

🙂

Tommy

Posted by brilomax on July 5, 2021

Tommy is a four year old stray that was being fed by the tenant of a flat, then the tenancy was taken over by a lady who had two cats of her own, the situation was not harmonious and we were asked to help.

He has been neutered, tested for FIV/Felv, vaccinated & chipped. He seems to be happy in the rescue environment, and likes to be brushed (but not too vigorously).

If you are local to Preston, Lancashire & would like to offer Tommy a forever home, then please call us on 01772 750263, we expect a minimum donation of £50 for our neutered cats & a promise to keep him in at night & provide a litter tray.

Update! (11/10/2021) Tommy now has an indoor home with long time LCR supporters Linda & Stuart in Accrington.

🙂

Spartacus

Posted by brilomax on June 16, 2021

Spartacus a three year old DSH was taken to Oakhill Veterinary Centre on Conway Drive Fulwood after loosing an argument with a motor vehicle, his jaw was broken & had to be wired but one of his front legs was very badly damaged & had to be pinned & plated.

That was way back in January, since then he has been fully vaccinated, tested for FIV/Felv & neutered, he was already chipped and his previous owner has signed him over to Lancashire Cat Rescue. It’s taken a while to get him ready for adoption due to some administrative complications and the complexity of his injury but he is now ready for a loving home.

If you would like to offer Spartacus a home and are local to Preston then please call us on 01772 750263 (if no one answers leave a message and some one will get back to you). He is quite vocal and probably wouldn’t suit being a house cat, so any adoptee needs to live in a quiet area well away from busy traffic. We expect a donation of at least £50 for our adult cats and a promise to keep them in at night & provide a litter tray or trays.

Jessie

Posted by brilomax on May 25, 2021

Jessie is having a well earned but brief rest from feeding her kittens, she’ll have to put up with their demands until July when they will be old enough (nine weeks) to have their first vaccinations and be homed.
