Our Adoption Process
The usual procedure to acquire cats or kittens from Lancashire Cat Rescue is to ring Christine on 01772 750263, then you/we can find out if there are any suitable cats/kittens available and possibly arrange an appointment for viewing.
We usually only home locally (Preston Lancashire) and we insist on a minimum donation of £40:00 each for our kittens and a minimum of £50:00 each for cats (more is always welcome). Most of our cats have been tested for FIV/Felv, have been neutered, fully vaccinated & chipped.
Cats / kittens are homed only on condition that they are kept in at night and a litter tray is provided.
Kittens are homed only with a commitment/promise to have them neutered when old enough (usually about five months).
We encourage adoptees to consider keeping our kittens as indoor pets.
Adoptees need to be aware that pet ownership can be expensive & are able to afford the extra expense.
Christine has a full time job, so if no one answers please leave a message, someone will return your call.
We prefer that adoptees don’t live near any busy roads, but we will sometimes home cats/kittens to busy locations if it’s agreed to keep the cat/kitten indoors at all times.
