Peanut, is a ginger & white neutered male shorthair, he was being fed as a stray in Warton, he was very thin and very hungry.

Blood tests revealed that had a condition called hyperthyroidism which if left untreated means expensive medication for the rest of his life, as he is guestimated to be only about eight years old we decided he should have a surgical procedure to make him well.

He has now had his thyroidectomy, he is also micro-chipped and he has tested negative for FIV & Felv, he has had his follow up visit to the vet, the operation was a complete success and he is now ready for a forever home.

Peanut is a very friendly cat, he has shown no desire to go out so we think he would make a wonderful housecat.

If you would like to offer a home to Peanut and live local to Preston, Lancashire please give us a call on 01772 750263 to arrange an appointment to view (socially distanced of course). If no-one answers please leave a message (Christine still works full time). We expect a minimum donation of £50 for Peanut and a commitment to provide a litter tray (or trays) and keep him indoors at all times.

Update! (13/05/2021) Peanut now has a forever home with Marlene in Bamber Bridge.
