Jess (senior)

Posted by brilomax on April 9, 2021

Jess was found wandering in a confused and disorientated state on farmland near Ormskirk, she was chipped to an address in Yorkshire but she had since changed carers and the contact details of her current owner hadn’t been updated with the chip company.

She will be 17 years of age in July. She walks with strange stiff legged motion and she’s not too steady on her feet. Jess likes to wander around the yard at the rescue (supervised of course), we’re not sure how well she can see, but she seems to have good spacial awareness and never bumps into anything, she also enjoys cuddles.

Because of her age we had a full blood profile done at the vets and all her levels were in the normal range, as well as being chipped she is also fully vaccinated.

We would like to find her a nice quiet home as a house cat where she can be fussed and loved in her twilight years.

If you would like to offer a home to Jess (or any other of our cats) and live local to Preston, Lancashire please give us a call on 01772 750263. We expect a minimum donation of £50 each for our neutered cats and a commitment to provide a litter tray (or trays) and keep them in at night.

Update! (09/04/2021) Jess now has a forever home with Danny & her cat family in Bamber Bridge.
